There are only 5 ingredients in this dish, and it only took about 15 minutes from start to finish. How to Make Smoked Sausage Cajun Alfredo This pasta is super easy to make. While the pasta is cooking, brown some smoked sausage in a skillet. 3-4 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken.

Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese. Add pasta to the sauce and toss. To cut down on the calories, I used turkey smoked sausage. It tasted great and we couldn’t tell any difference from the regular smoked sausage. If you are worried about this being spicy, you can certainly reduce the amount of cajun seasoning. You can use any shape of pasta that you prefer.

What to Serve with Cajun Pasta This pasta has been on repeat at our house. We just can’t get enough of this dish! It is so easy to make and is packed full of amazing flavor! We usually serve this with some green beans or a salad and some bread.

I added onion and red and green bell pepper and used Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning- From SETX. I’ve made it quite often and my 14 yr old Grandson loves it,too. I dbl the recipe for leftovers. The only thing I do differently is I use Old Bay seasoning and smoked and andouille sausage. I have made this twice now and it is so delicious. Used venison bologna ring, omitted the Cajun because the venison is peppery enough!

Delicious recipe there weren’t any leftovers my family of five ate every bite! Made this tonight with penne pasta. My husband is usually picky about pasta but loved it as well! SO glad it was a hit! Is there a substitute for heavy cream? Made this tonight with Trader Joe’s andouille sausage. Tastes really good, although I nearly quadrupled the amount of the seasoning!

If youre like me and love strong flavor and spice, I definitely recommend giving it another hearty spoonful or two of the seasoning. This recipe is so easy to make yet it looks and tasted like it took hours to prepare. The Cajun seasoning recipe is wonderful. I can’t wait to try pork chops! This is our new favorite recipe. So easy and delicious at that. I double the sauce recipe to match with a whole box of pasta and it is just so yummy.
