Since I started eating low carb and gluten-free, I haven’t had fettuccine noodles in a long while. But, I do have an easy low carb keto Alfredo sauce recipe that I make all the time! The great thing about this easy Alfredo sauce is that it’s naturally low carb and keto, without any unusual ingredients. And, everyone will love it, even if they are not following a low carb diet. It pairs just fine with regular pasta for those that eat it, but for me, I stick with gluten-free and keto options.

The most common way that I use low carb Alfredo sauce is over zoodles. I actually posted a different Zucchini Noodles Alfredo recipe last summer. That one had a lighter sauce, made by combining cream and unsweetened almond milk in addition to the Parmesan cheese. It’s delicious and still one of my favorites, but sometimes I crave something richer. When I want a garlic Parmesan cream sauce that’s extra creamy, I make this easy Alfredo sauce instead. And if you’re keto, you’ll like this version better since there is no arrowroot powder or other thickener. It thickens naturally, mostly just from the cheese.

Because this is Alfredo sauce with heavy cream, it reduces naturally and reaches the right consistency without a thickening agent. I absolutely love garlic, so my keto Alfredo sauce recipe has lots and lots of garlic. If you’re a garlic lover like me, you’ll love it.
